1. How do I sign up as a coach and create an account?

Download GeeGee from the Google Play or App Store, open the app, and select the “Coach” tab. Then:
- Choose a sign-up option.
- Follow the onboarding steps to set up your squad and profile.
- You’re ready to go!

2. How does GeeGee improve your coaching?

GeeGee provides you with age-specific training modules from the world’s best rugby coaches. The app suggests what to coach and when—saving you time and helping you deliver high-quality training sessions.

3. What does your team do in GeeGee?

GeeGee is a platform built to drive success for rugby teams. Designed by some of the world’s top minds and best rugby coaches, it goes beyond basic communication to support team management, coaching, player development, and building a strong team culture—enhancing the rugby experience for everyone.

4. How is my team calendar generated?

GeeGee creates a personalised coaching and training calendar for your full season. We ask key questions during setup so our AI can deliver tailored training sessions every week, complete with skill and drill videos for implementation. Game days are scheduled based on your season start date.

5. Who is GeeGee built for?

GeeGee is for every rugby club and school around the world. We focus particularly on youth rugby, with training sessions and content tailored for age groups from Under 6 through to U18. We also have offerings for 18+ teams.

6. Are you a Rugby Development Officer?
Here’s how you can use GeeGee for your club or school:

As an RDO, GeeGee helps you collaborate more effectively and gain visibility across every team in your club or school. You can:
- Set up multiple teams for each age group
- Join teams already created by coaches
- Review upcoming trainings
- Create sessions for different squads
- Collaborate within the GeeGee tool to support your entire coaching ecosystem

7. How do I create multiple teams within GeeGee?

During onboarding, we automatically build your first GeeGee team. To add more:
- Tap the “G” logo in the navigation bar
- Click the dropdown arrow at the top middle of the screen
- Click “Set up a new team”
- Follow the steps to complete the setup

Your new team is ready!

8. Can I delay a training session?

Yes, you can delay any scheduled training session. You have two options:

Move to next training date:
Automatically shift the session to your next scheduled training day
(e.g. from Tuesday to Thursday).

Manual selection:
Choose a specific date for the rescheduled session
(ideal if training moves due to a school holiday or other conflict).

9. How do I confirm a training session?

To confirm your training session:
1. On the home screen, tap “G” logo
2.
Select “Confirm Training Session”
3.
Review the session details
4. Tap “Confirm Training & Update Details”

Your session is now confirmed and your team will be notified.

10. How do I confirm a game event?

To confirm your game event:
1. On the home screen, tap “G” logo
2.
Select “Confirm Game Day” from the checklist
3.
Update the game information (e.g. opponent, time, location)
4. Your game event is now set up and visible to the team!

11. Why are some trainings locked in later “Training Sessions” dated training sessions or the Media Library?

GeeGee uses a progression-based training programme.
You must complete the current training module before unlocking the next.
A training is marked complete when it is delivered as a training event—either through the GeeGee calendar or by creating a custom session using Haka Rugby training.

12. What happens if I don’t confirm a training session before it starts?

To provide you with tailored sessions, we ask that you either confirm or delay each one. Confirming:
- Notifies the team
- Allows players to preview drills and skills

If you don’t confirm, the session is assumed to be missed and will be moved to the next training day.

13. What is the gamification feature for players?

GeeGee keeps players motivated with gamification. Players can earn digital badges like Player of the Day, Best Tackle, Try of the Day, Work rate and Step of the Day, tracked on a team leaderboard. Badges convert to GG Coins, which can be redeemed for real rewards in the GeeGee Store!

14. How do I award badges?

Once a game event ends, it’s time to vote!
- Only one of each badge can be awarded per game
- Coaches must vote collectively (votes are submitted once, on behalf of all coaches)
- We recommend voting within 24 hours while the game is fresh

15. Who can set up a GeeGee Squad?

Only coaches and RDOs can create and manage GeeGee Squads. Players can join, but squad features only activate once a coach completes a quick verification during onboarding.

16. How do I access customer support or report an issue?

 If you experience any issues, contact us through the form on our website or within the app. Our team is here to help.

17. How do you use my data?

At GeeGee, your privacy is a priority. We use your data to:
- Personalize your profile
- Connect you with your team
- Enhance your overall experience in the app

18. What if I want to delete my account?

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data and content. To proceed, head to your profile settings and follow the prompts.
